Read II John 1 Walking in the Truth

This is love, that we walk according to His commandments. This is the commandment, that as you have heard from the beginning, you should walk in it. (II John 1:6 NKJV)

John stresses we should keep His commandments That is the way to receive our answers for our prayer. (1 John 3:22-23) Put your faith in Jesus and love one another then our prayer be answered. Commandment to believe in Christ, next is to love one another.

This commandment is not new (John 13:34-35 )He was there in the upper room. When Jesus told His disciples that evidence of their love is to do what He commanded. "If you obey my commandments, you will remain in my love, just as I have obeyed my Fathers commandments and remain in his love." (John 15:10)

The commandment is summed up in love. Loving God and men. Love the Lord your God with all your heart, with all your soul, with all your mind, and with all your strength. The second is: Love your neighbour as yourself. There is no other commandment greater than these. (Mark 12:30-31)

Prayer: Lord You have love me that caused me to response in love to walk in Your commandments.
