Read I Timothy 3 Requirements for Church Officers
And without controversy great is the mystery of godliness: God was manifested in the flesh, justified in the Spirit, seen by angels, preached among the Gentiles, believed on in the world, received up in glory. (I Timothy 3:16 NKJV)
Mystery is now revealed to Gods people. the mystery which has been hidden from ages and from generations, but now has been revealed to His saints. To them God willed to make known what are the riches of the glory of this mystery among the Gentiles: which is Christ in you, the hope of glory. (Colossians
First, the essence of the incarnation. God took on human flesh to live among the people He created. As a Son, Jesus remained completely obedient to His Father in heaven and then offered Himself as a perfect sacrifice in our place (II Corinthians 5:21). Sinful humans by faith received what Jesus had done may be declared righteous before God and be born again (John 3:3) as new creation (II Corinthians 5:17) How a life is transformed is the mystery of godliness and is comprehended only through the revelation of God in Christ.
Second, the Holy Spirit declare who Jesus always was before the Father. The declaration was made at His baptism (Matthew 3:16), whatever He is, said and done. His birthday, ministry, death and resurrection (1 Peter 3:18; Acts 2:32-33). He didnt glorify Himself but the Spirit bears witness and glorifies Him.
Third, angelic visitation as many instances when Jesus was seen by angels (Mark 1:13; Luke 22:41-43), and especially at the resurrection (Matthew 28:2-7).But when He again brings the firstborn into the world, He says: Let all the angels of God worship Him. (Hebrews
Fourth, the power of the Gospel was preached by Paul himself and Christs followers to both Jews and Gentiles not only in Jerusalem but throughout the surrounding nations with many believed the truth as been revealed.
Jesus was received into glory because His work is finished on our behalf (Hebrews 1:3), He ascended into heaven in a resurrection body (Luke 24:51),
Prayer: Lord, You have finished the work for my behalf. A mystery of transforming me into godliness is beyond my comprehension. Thus to You be the glory that I am living Your resurrected life triumphantly bearing witness of what You have done.
