Read Proverbs 31 The Sayings of King Lemuel

Her children rise up and call her blessed, her husband also praises her: (Proverbs 31:28)

Every Mothers Day reminds us of the women, the wives and mothers who fears the Lord is praiseworthy. Here we note the five following traits.

Character - noble and excellence. A beauty thats from within expressed in words and actions that build and blessed those along her path. She opens her mouth with wisdom, And on her tongue is the law of kindness. (Proverbs 31:26). Do not let your adornment be merely outwardarranging the hair, wearing gold, or putting on fine apparel rather let it be the hidden person of the heart, with the incorruptible beauty of a gentle and quiet spirit, which is very precious in the sight of God. (I Peter 3:3-4)

Complement - to her husband's need so as to enable him to excel in public affairs. She encourages him through her support. A helpmate God has placed upon his life. She does him good and not evil All the days of her life. (Proverbs 31:12)

Competent in managing the home and exercise stewardship of finances. She seeks wool and flax, And willingly works with her hands. She is like the merchant ships, She brings her food from afar. (Proverbs 31:13-14) She makes tapestry for herself; Her clothing is fine linen and purple. (Proverbs 31:22)

Conscientious in all her ways whether be house chores or businesses. She also rises while it is yet night, And provides food for her household, And a portion for her maidservants. (Proverbs 31:15).

Consecration in her devotion to the Lord. Charm is deceitful and beauty is passing, But a woman who fears the LORD, she shall be praised. (Proverbs 31:30)

Prayer: Lord I praise You for my wife, my daughter and daughter-in-law for they are wonderful channels You have given us to live without lack and their homes organized. Most significantly for raising wonderful children.
