Read Proverbs 11 Blessings to the Righteous in contrast to the Wicked

The generous soul will be made rich, And he who waters will also be watered himself. (Proverbs 11:25 NKJV)

When do we feel lonely? When we focus so much on self. When do we feel dry? When we arent sharing anything. For most of us we acknowledge how much we learn ourselves when we prepare lessons to share with others.

This metaphor from a fountain, which when it flows forth its waters; it is instantly filled again. This speaks of those who are nurturing children, providing companionship and encouragement the weak are watering other that they may be refreshed. In similar way God makes the "generous", the liberal soul, rich. The man who is a blessing to others both in temporal and spiritual things shall himself be blessed. God continues making the rich richer as he might give to others. This is God's economy.

God deals with him according to the measure by which he deals with others. We are rich in Christ. He became poor that we might be made rich For you know the grace of our Lord Jesus Christ, that though He was rich, yet for you sakes He became poor, the you through His poverty might become rich. (II Corinthians 8:9). Thus, as we dedicate ourselves to enrich others, we are drawing that riches from Christ. It is like the scattering of seed, But this I say: He who sows sparingly will also reap sparingly, and he who sows bountifully will also reap bountifully. As it is written: He has dispersed abroad, He has given to the poor; His righteousness endures forever. (II Corinthians 9:6,9)

Prayer: Lord You are my Shepherd and I have no lack. I do not give so as to get but out of the abundance I have already gotten I worship You as I give of my life.
