Read Job 1Satan attacks Job

Then the LORD said to Satan, Have you considered My servant Job, that there is none like him on the earth, a blameless and upright man, one who fears God and shuns evil? (Job 1:8 NKJV)

This book of Job provides a picture of the spiritual realm in one's adversity. In the midst of Job's positive relationship with God and His blessing; Satan is jealous and came to accuse both God and Job. Observe the cynicism of Satan. He was saying to the Lord "No one really loves you! The only reason Job is serving you is because of all the blessings. Take away all the blessings and he will curse you to your face." He knows where man is vulnerable. "All that a man has will he give for his life" (2:4)

God knew Job. God calls him "my servant"; not a servant of men, living according to the lusts and will of men, and their customs and forays of worship, superstition, and idolatry; nor a servant of sin and the lusts of the flesh. The Lord's servant, by creation, by special choice, by redemption, by efficacious grace, and the voluntary surrender of himself to the Lord.

Four characteristic traits that God commended of him There was a man in the land of Uz, whose name was Job; and that man was blameless and upright, and one who feared God and shunned evil.

Are you aware of God's knowledge of you? God has all the positive things to say about you because He created you for His pleasure. However after man's fall by his own choice, Satan has being then on his accuser day and night (Rev.12: 10). Take what God commended of us in Christ than allowing the enemy to bring us accusation.

Prayer: Lord, I received the commendation You have of me in Christ. I refuse the enemy to bring me condemnation or accusation.
