Read II Chronicles 7 The Dedication of the Temple

"if My people who are called by My name will humble themselves, and pray and seek My face, and turn from their wicked ways, then I will hear from heaven, and will forgive their sin and heal their land". (II Chronicles 7:14 NKJV)

The LORD appeared to Solomon by night again after the dedication of the temple. God spoke to him that this temple is the place He would hear their prayers in event of afflictions with these conditions.

Be humble before God. It is the spirit of dependency under His authority and acknowledge the wickedness of the land before God.

Coming together to pray. One can chase a thousand, but two can put ten thousand to flight. There is strength in unity, and there is strength in togetherness and we need it especially in the time for revival. In prayer, we seek, search out by any means; the face of God, His countenance. It means as Gods people that we stop looking for help and answers everywhere else; we need to look to Him. We are caught up in what God can do for us than to hunger for Him. He wants us to love Him for Who He is! It is both of making our petitions known to God to renew our relationship and intimacy with Him

In seeking God, the Holy Spirit brings conviction of our conditions through the word of God and recall our failures. Contrition will be evident. Drawing us to make confession which is speaking what God say of you.

Then God will heal their land from drought. A picture of dryness. Its more than natural but the spiritual stage of the land..

Prayer: Father God, You have placed me here to stand in the gap. Holy Spirit grant me the revelation of the condition we are in and empower me to be in the posture that seek Your face. I am amazed by how You love us by what You have done. You have us put thing straight within ourselves as You will take care of the outcome.
