KEPT BY THE POWER OF GOD
Read Jude 1 Contending for the Faith
Now to Him who is able to keep you from stumbling, And to present you faultless Before the presence of His glory with exceeding joy, To God our Savior, Who alone is wise, Be glory and majesty, Dominion and power, Both now and forever. Amen. (Jude 24-25 NKJV)
Jude starts with the warning of the false teachers and immorality but closes with a doxology reminds us of Gods care and of our destiny even with these overwhelming tests.
God is the great Preserver. He has promised to keep us from falling. He who has begun a good work in us will complete it until the day of Jesus Christ (Philippians 1:6) He prays for us and will save us even to the uttermost. His love is lavished upon us that nothing can separate us from the love which is in Christ Jesus. For I am persuaded that neither death nor life, nor angels nor principalities nor powers, nor things present nor things to come, nor height nor depth, nor any other created thing, shall be able to separate us from the love of God which is in Christ Jesus our Lord. (Romans 8:38-39)
God is our Presenter. He presents us faultless in glory with exceeding joy. He sanctifies us blameless in spirit, soul and body (1Thessalonians 5:23). We need not be anxious of the outcome. perfection but to count on His faithfulness living with the sense of destiny of being blameless at the end of the journey because He is the Sanctifier and we are the sanctified.
God is the Pre-eminence. He is the only wise God. Salvation is in Him and wisdom His; none can compare with Him. He alone possesses all inherent worthiness, and glory. He is Majestic as the King of all kings and Lord of all lords. Dominion belongs to Him over all the earth and the heavens. He is in control and sovereign. Power belongs to Him with all authority to command.
Prayer: Lord, You are my Presenter before the Father and Your work is perfect for me and all those in Christ. I live with a worshipful heart and gratitude for what You have ordained and predetermined of my faultlessness before the throne. To You be all the glory forever and ever, Amen.
