Read II Thessalonians 3 Living diligently for His Coming

Now may the Lord direct your hearts into the love of God and into the patience of Christ. (II Thessalonians 3:5 NKJV)

Paul praise the Lord be the One who directs the heart of the believers. The heart is deceitful above all things and unless the Lord directs it we will go astray. King David considered as a man after Gods own heart fall into sin and Palm 51, he confessed his sin and asked God for a contrite heart well pleasing to God. Loving God with all of our heart. At one stage we want to hide now we are constantly asking God to search our heart. Be not hardened. He is able to direct. We have a bad direction. He will give us a new heart. Our heart be directed to follow Christs example of patience. For the Thessalonians believers to be steadfast or stay under even in persecution. Patience in waiting the fulfilment of God will. Even in daily life how insensitive and impatience we can be when relating to those who are slow, cautious and uncertain.

Prayer: Lord, how easy it is my heart to fall for what I can take immediate pleasure and be distracted by the many voices and sights around. Do direct me to Your love and Christs patience.
