Read Philippians 4 Joy in Gods Provision

Finally, brethren, whatever things are true, whatever things are noble, whatever things are just, whatever things are pure, whatever things are lovely, whatever things are of good report, if there is any virtue and if there is anything praiseworthymeditate on these things. (Philippians 4:8 NKJV)

Paul encourages the Philippians believers to think, dwell, and focus on all things that are holistic. It is a continuous pursuit. A habitual life style regardless what you are doing. As it is in the active voice means it is our active responsibility in the pursuit. Our action is rooted in the mind thus a command to think what God has given us as a new mind. There are eight traits Paul wrote for our meditations.

(1) Whatever is true, real and genuine as opposed to false. fantasy and celebrity. The Word of God is true that sets free those who live it out. I rather meditate and speak what God said than to listen to the lies of the devil or the carnality of the flesh. (2) Whatever things noble, thats honourable, lawful and dignified as opposed to those that are base and low morality. (3) Whatever things are just, equitable, right, and fair before God. Give to what's rightly due be it the right of the minority or the marginalized. (4) Whatever things are pure, meaning wholesome, sanctified, chaste, unblemished and clean. It is not perverted, sensual and lustful (5) Whatever things are lovely, that which is attractive bringing delights that expresses the image of God within us. He makes all things beautiful. (6) whatever things are of good report. Reports that gives high morale, encouragement and unity. (7) Whatever of virtue or areas that are ethical and (8) finally think of anything that is praiseworthy, commendable before God.

Prayer: Lord You are my thought and thus all these traits personify in You. As I dwell in You so are You my thoughts. These are reflections of who You are as I meditate. The truth is I am free, with integrity that brings peace and justice in relationship with other that will be the good report and praise worthy to the others
