Read II Corinthians 12 Pauls Vision and Strength

And He said to me, My grace is sufficient for you, for My strength is made perfect in weakness. Therefore most gladly I will rather boast in my infirmities, that the power of Christ may rest upon me. (II Corinthians 12:9 NKJV)

I recalled I was seating by a side-lane feeling anxious how ready I was for my A level exam. Reason being I was doing as a private candidate without a full two years preparation in a proper government school. This passage came to me and given me such confidence that God would see me through.

Problem that comes. For Paul, we do not know what was the thorn in the flesh that caused him to plead with God. His desire was not granted him but God still had a response for Paul.

Promise that is given, God promises His grace is sufficient for Paul to accomplish His ultimate purpose.

Praise that comes. In the end, Paul does not resign himself to his fate; he welcomes it. He chooses to take pride in infirmities and rely on the grace and strength of God all the more,

How often subconsciously we focus on our infirmities and feel discouraged. We asked for strength to achieve our goals but given weakness that we might obey, for health to do greater things but have infirmities to do thing better, for power to win the praise of men but given weakness that we are more dependent and need of God. We asked for all things that we may enjoy life but given life to enjoy all things. God gives sufficient grace to His children. The choice is ours to tap on it and exercise it. His strength is thus manifested in our weakness. God is always at work in us. We are wallowing Him to work through us when what we need is to surrender to His will and see His power override us. We should have taken as opportunity to boast of the Lords grace living as a channel by which God's power rest upon u

Prayer: Lord I stand back to see Your power at work. I take no guilt upon myself in my infirmities. You are my Grace, Power and Sufficiency in all I am and going through.
