Read Daniel 4 Dream of Nebuchadnezzar

And at the end of the time I, Nebuchadnezzar, lifted my eyes to heaven, and my understanding returned to me; and I blessed the Most High and praised and honored Him who lives forever: For His dominion is an everlasting dominion, And His kingdom is from generation to generation. All the inhabitants of the earth are reputed as nothing; He does according to His will in the army of heaven And among the inhabitants of the earth. No one can restrain His hand Or say to Him, What have You done? (Daniel 4:34-35 NKJV)

Nebuchadnezzar was proud of himself over what he had achieved. He became a beast. God restored him at the appointed time. No way was Nebuchadnezzar would recover without divine intervention.

Now standing upright; he lifted his eyes to the heaven as indicating of his dependence upon God and acknowledged the greatness of God as the Most High, supreme, infinite, and eternal, Reason and awareness came back to him to worship God as above all in power and worthy of praise and honour. God who is eternal and His rule is throughout eternity. The greatest monarchs, is as nothing in His sight.

He does according to His counsel. Whatever we do does not add any benefits to Him but us. He orders the angels, which are the host of heaven, to stand or go where he pleases; and He disposes of men on earth, and puts them into such stations, and such conditions and circumstances, and appoints them such business and services, as He wishes. He regenerates and calls by his grace, of his own will; and reveals Christ, and the great things of the Gospel, to whom it seems good in his sight; He bestows grace and glory on whomsoever be pleases, as free grace gifts, without any merit of the creature, according to His sovereign will and pleasure.

No one can restrain His hand or say to Him, What have You done? He chooses us and not us who have chosen Him. When we challenge or doubt His word; its against Him. No one can stop His power, resist His will, or hinder Him from acting, or cause Him to cease from His work, which He is bent upon; There are many plans in a mans heart, Nevertheless the LORDs counsel that will stand. (Proverbs 19:21)

Prayer: Lord let me take pride only in You and all blessings I have come only from You. There's no lack. I trust You and know You have the best planned for us. What a blessed life that my destiny is not determined by those of my superior or even myself but You.
