Read 56 A House of Prayer for all Nations

Even them I bring to My holy mountain, And make them joyful in My house of prayer. Their burnt offerings and their sacrifices Will be accepted on My altar; For My house shall be called a house of prayer for all nations. (Isaiah 56:7 NKJV)

The time of Jews coming return from captivity might have left the non-Israelites wondered about their own state. They could be proselytes and would they be left behind. God is an all-encompassing God who would not keep anyone out who comes to Him.

The foreigners had the sense of separation (:3) and even the eunuch considered as outcast would consider themselves as dry tree be denied of temple ritual. They are now promised to be with Him in His holy mountain, a prophetic time of the Millennium, rule. How moving for us who are foreigners, eunuch as slaves to sins that God has included us in.

They will be joyful in His house of prayer, a place of praise, worship. thanksgiving and communion with Him. Jesus quoted from Isaiah, And He said to them, It is written, My house shall be called a house of prayer, but you have made it a den of thieves. (Matthew 21:13) when he cleansed the temple while at the court of the gentiles. He given us a place and name one that is everlasting.

Their sacrifices will be accepted. It is the sacrifice of thanksgiving, Let them sacrifice the sacrifices of thanksgiving, And declare His works with rejoicing. (Psalms 107:22)

It shall include all people as God wanted the Jews to know that was His intention, He had chosen them to be a channel of His witness.

Prayer: Lord, how thankful I am to be accepted into Your Kingdom, to be given a name among Your people, an inheritance that is everlasting. May I take soberly Your house as one of prayer, worship and communion with You.
