BEST IS ALREADY PLANNED
Read Isaiah 48 Gods Best for Israel
Thus says the Lord, your Redeemer, The Holy One of Israel: I am the Lord your God who teaches you to profit, Who leads you by the way you should go. (Isaiah 48:17)
Prophet Isaiah had spoken to the Babylonians and warns them that judgment is coming because of their many sins now turns to Judah. He reproofs them of their sins as God has seen them. Yet God is merciful to refine them through discipline and desires to renewing them. He would choose Cyrus as instrumental to free His people from their captivity in Babylon,
A relationship that is personal. He is indeed their Redeemer. This means His ownership over their lives. He acknowledges Himself as their God and would take responsibility to teach them.
Teaching them to profit as what is best for them. od's teachings are all directed to the "profit" of those to whom they are addressed; and, if received in a proper spirit, actually "profit" them more than anything else can do. "All Scripture is given by inspiration of God, and is profitable" (II Timothy 3:16) profitable also are the teachings of God's providence, which chasten men, warn men, and tend to keep men in the right path. He is speaking specifically according to the design and plan He has for each one of their lives. He only has His best for them. He would guide them the way they should go. Their role is to listened to His commands. He is offering wisdom to protect you (Psalm 32:8-10). He will teach you and guide you to where you should go. Our role is to submit and obey.
The outcome of their obedience is God's blessings are for His children who obey. To be in the perfect will of God brings peace. The peace of God is like a river that flows from within us and never goes dry. All believers are robed in the righteousness of Christ. It is His righteousness, not ours.
Is this the wisest thing to do? Past experience and what is my future if I do it the same as I did in the past would it mess up and now what I am now? How often if we could go back and do it over again. Lets make the best out of it (Ephesians 5:15-17).
Prayer: Lord, You have your best plan for me. I discover through reading Your word and submitting to You guidance in various ways You prompt me. I will live to experience peace and righteousness that You have for me.
