Read Psalm 150 Call for all to Praise God

Let everything that has breath praise the LORD. Praise the LORD! (Psalms 150:6 NKJV)

How do we start the day? What about giving praise to God? Psalm 150 provides us the framework of praise:

Who do we praise? God alone deserves the praises above all else. For God is the King of all the earth; Sing praises with understanding. (Psalms 47:7) For the LORD is great and greatly to be praised; He is also to be feared above all gods. (I Chronicles 16:25; Psalms 96:4)

Where do we praise God? In His sanctuary (:1).Praise the LORD! I will praise the LORD with my whole heart, In the assembly of the upright and in the congregation (Psalms 111:1) Praise Him in His mighty expanse as if to usher all the angelic beings to praise Him. We can praise God wherever we are regardless of the situation. It is not based on our mood but focus on Him.

Why do we praise God? For His mighty acts (;2) for what He has done show His greatness for instance creation, externally the universe and even personally, we our fearfully made. His acts of redemption, salvation and healing, His provision and protections show His greatness of power and love. The more we know and experience Him the more we want to praise Him. Let the peoples praise You, O God; Let all the peoples praise You. Then the earth shall yield her increase; God, our own God, shall bless us." (Psalms 67:5, 6)

How do we praise God? With trumpet sound; lute and harp, tambourine and dance; strings and flutes, with loud clashing cymbals (:3-5) These are instrumentals use to praise God. Yet it is also by lifting our hands (Psalm 134:2); with singing (Psalm 100:2; 147:1; 149:1) our actions (Colossians 3:17), with dancing ( 2Sam.6:14).

Who must praise God? Let everything that has breath praise the LORD! It is an expression of our confidence that God will bring transformation into their lives. will bless the LORD at all times: his praise shall continually be in my mouth. (Psalm 34:1)

PRAYER: Everlasting Father God, I enter into Your gates with thanksgiving, and into Your courts with praise. As all creation praise You so do I extol, thank, and praise You. For You alone are great and worthy of all praise. I remember the wonders You have done and declare Your glory, power and holiness. I receive Your abundance blessings as You have scattered the enemy and be enthroned in the midst of my praises.
