Read Psalm 91 Dwelling in the Secret Place

He who dwells in the secret place of the Most High Shall abide under the shadow of the Almighty. (Psalms 91:1 NKJV)

This Psalm 91 has been often quoted and spoken during the COVID19. It calls for solitude and pause. I noted three significance segments in this Psalm. Using the 3 Ss for easy recap.

Set Apart - we play hid and seek when we were young. Theres no security that we would not be found. There is only one secret place we are most secured. It's not hidden that one cannot find but one that not many would find and dwell. What's the secret place? It's the place where God's passion and presence is. Its the place closest to Gods heart. Now its in Christ we are dwelling.

Speak the Word - His truth (faithfulness) shall be your shield and buckler (Rampart). Psalms 91:4 The Word of God is a weapon, a two-edged sword (Hebrews 4:12), so when we pray the Word, we pray right on target. Buckler is an armor carried on the arm to intercept blows cp. Stand therefore, having girded your waist with truth, having put on the breastplate of righteousness... above all, taking the shield of faith with which, you will be able to quench all the fiery darts of the wicked one. (Ephesians 6:14, 16)

Salvation as my Satisfaction - With long life I will satisfy him, And show him My salvation. (Psalms 91:16) The word for Salvation is Yeshua thats Jesus

Prayer: Lord I am safe because You spread Your shadow over me as I set apart to dwell. I can say all is well within Your sight and let me see the way You do. You are my Salvation and I am fully satisfied with long life
