Read Esther 3 4 Mordecai Requests Esthers Help

For if you remain completely silent at this time, relief and deliverance will arise for the Jews from another place, but you and your fathers house will perish. Yet who knows whether you have come to the kingdom for such a time as this? (Esther 4:14 NKJV)

My failure to disclosure had brought hurt to a sister but the excuse was she wasnt ready to hear the news. This time it was no excuse for Esther.

Esther may be too anxious to speak to the king in favour of the Jews. She had not even disclosed her identity. There is a danger she would be exposed to in doing it:

Mordecai seemed confident that God of the Jews would still bring about deliverance from elsewhere. He made clear no one is indispensable in the work of God as he knew through history. Gods agenda will not be thwarted by humans failure.

But she would have placed her existing family in Shushan at stake. Hamans decree would be executed and the Jews in Shushan will perish. She would have to be held accountable to God for failing to act on behalf of her people with the position and platform given her.

God has His perfect time and people in His place orchestrating His ultimate plan. Esther came into the palace as a queen was divinely orchestrated. Queen Vashti acted in defiance of the king's demand for her presence and she was removed from her position. The search for her replacement ended in Esther as the queen. Haman had planned for the destruction of the Jews because Mordecai refused to bow to him.

Mordecai believed that the providence of God had raised her to that dignity, that she might be an instrument of saving his people in the time of their distress. He reminded Esther of her role where God has placed her in such a time as this. It was not coincidental she was in the palace but God has a plan that through her there will come the deliverance of the Jews.

Seeing she and her family must perish, it was better to perish in a good cause than in a bad one. She was submissive to him even at the risk of her life.

What a privilege is given us now to stand in the gap or given an opportunity to serve His Kingdoms cause.

Prayer: Father, I embrace the time You have for me where I am even now. You have orchestrated me as a channel of Your blessing.
