Read Esther 1 -2 Esther becomes Queen

The king loved Esther more than all the other women, and she obtained grace and favor in his sight more than all the virgins; so he set the royal crown upon her head and made her queen instead of Vashti. (Esther 2:17 NKJV)

What a picture of the church, chosen as bride of Christ. Esther was a Jew considered an outcast, the conquered people, in captive, and in a foreign land.

Out of all natural and human expectation God set her apart.

The king loved her more than all the other beautiful women (:8) as historian said 400 maidens. It was God who desired her to be in position. It is Gods favour shown to Esther as repeated in 1:9, 15, 17. King Ahasuerus was not looking for a woman but a companion and a wife.

Knowing who she belongs to and being taught of Gods dealing with Israel; she manifests humility and simplicity. She didnt ask anything more than was given her. Now when the turn came for Esther the daughter of Abihail the uncle of Mordecai, who had taken her as his daughter, to go in to the king, she requested nothing but what Hegai the kings eunuch, the custodian of the women, advised. And Esther obtained favor in the sight of all who saw her. (Esther 2:15 NKJV).

God placed her there for a purpose though she had no prior knowledge. She was instrumental to the protection and saving the lives of the Jews.

We are chosen, favoured by the King of kings. It zero in the salvation by Christ for us as Esther was send by Mordecai to save the Jews. The Father send Christ to save us. We are witnesses to those around who will see the light and grant us favour. Gods purpose for us to be instrumental to the salvation of mankind.

Prayer: Father, You ordained my path and You knew whats best for me that I can be a channel of Your agenda on earth. You will set me the platform and grant me the favour to be accepted.
