Read Deuteronomy 32 The Song of Moses

"He is the Rock, His work is perfect; For all His ways are justice, A God of truth and without injustice; Righteous and upright is He. (Deuteronomy 32:4)

Have you ever felt short changed or cheated of a deal? How you might have wished to get even, reverse your decision or sense remorse over your haste? We can leave God the entire outcome. For here is what Moses said of God who ultimately shows His justice.

This verse was part of the song of Moses. A song is far easier to be remembered than words. The song reminds them of their mistakes, warns them to avoid repetition of those mistakes and offer the hope that comes only in trusting God.

This verse speaks of the God we have. It answers the "who, the work and the way". Who? He is God the Rock. Moses must have been reminded of the water that gushed out of the rock when he spoke to it but he struck it subsequently. And this Rock is Christ, a prophetic of His giving the Spirit and His affliction.

His work is perfect. He knew the end from the beginning. The timing, the methods and directions are without mistake even when men or Satan sought to challenge God. In Him also we have obtained an inheritance, being predestined according to the purpose of Him who works all things according to the counsel of His will, that we who first trusted in Christ should be to the praise of His glory. (Ephesians 1:11-12)

All His ways are just. No one can question His choice. He is God of truth. He is His Word. He is without injustice when He judges. Even for our sins that deserve eternal punishment because of His justice; He laid it in Christ for exchange of ours. He cannot be challenged for giving us life eternal. He is Righteous and upright.

Prayer: Father God, You are my Rock of all ages. In You lie my confidence as I take refuge and establish my faith in Christ. Your work is perfect, I can surrender to You my agenda. I declare Your justice over any offense done against me.
