MANARATHA
Read Revelation 22 Jesus Is Coming
He who testifies to these things says, Surely I am coming quickly. Amen. Even so, come, Lord Jesus! The grace of our Lord Jesus Christ be with you all. Amen (Revelation 22:20 21 NKJV)
The promises of Christs first coming happened. So will the promise of His second coming. The first time He came as the Savour. This time He will be as the Lamb that will rule and judge. Surely, is a challenge to doubters. As He keeps His word. "Behold, I am coming quickly! Blessed is he who keeps the words of the prophecy of this book. (Revelation 22:7)
Christ said of His coming quickly as the manner in which He appears. Then the sign of the Son of Man will appear in heaven, and then all the tribes of the earth will mourn, and they will see the Son of Man coming on the clouds of heaven with power and great glory. (Matthew 24:30) It is a speedy coming. It is sudden. It is short in term of eternity with regard to when He comes. He knew what's best for us in time. Many may not expect such sudden appearance of Christs return. And behold, I am coming quickly, and My reward is with Me, to give to every one according to his work. (Revelation 22:12)
The note closes with the benediction for the saints. When will grace end? Until He comes. The emphasis of the beginning of the world is Christ and the end is Christ. Jesus is called the Amen. He is unchanging. The same yesterday, today and forever through eternality. We are in safe keeping.
Prayer: Lord, Your promise of coming given us hope and no labour in vain. I live and pass on by grace with the awareness of Your coming. Even so come Lord Jesus. Amen
