Read Ezekiel 11 Judgment on Wicked Counselors

Then I will give them one heart, and I will put a new spirit within them, and take the stony heart out of their flesh, and give them a heart of flesh, (Ezekiel 11:19 NKJV)

The World's First Heart Transplant was placed center stage in the world's spotlight when Professor Christian Barnard performed the first human heart transplant on December 1967. Here was a spiritual one that God does.

The Israelite tossed between God and Baal practicing syncretism. Their heart is divided; Now they are held guilty. He will break down their altars; He will ruin their sacred pillars. (Hosea 10:2) But God will give them an undivided heart towards Him.

God will put a new spirit within them. I will give you a new heart and put a new spirit within you; I will take the heart of stone out of your flesh and give you a heart of flesh. I will put My Spirit within you and cause you to walk in My statutes, and you will keep My judgments and do them. (Ezekiel 36:26-27)

He will take away the stony heart, thats is not pliable and sensitive to Him. A heart hardened by sin, senseless to spiritual things; stubborn and inflexible, on which no impressions are made by corrections, admonitions, and so an impenitent one. They continuing the practice of sin robbing them of God's blessing.

This change of heart is not the work of men but God. Through His word; this hardened heat likened to the rock broken to pieces through His love. God will give them a heart of flesh thats tender heart, a sensible and penitent one obsequious to the will of God; on which impressions are made; on which the laws of God are written.

Cast away from you all the transgressions which you have committed, and get yourselves a new heart and a new spirit. For why should you die, O house of Israel? (Ezekiel 18:31).

Prayer: Lord. I pause to search my own heart before You. Am I indifference toward spiritual things, do I act soberly according to Your Word, have I been humble towards others in appreciating and relating to them as You would? This new heart You have given me be one that is constantly sensitive to You and penitent that I might inherit what Your Promises are for me.
