Read Exodus 15 The Song of Deliverance

"The LORD is my strength and song, And He has become my salvation; He is my God, and I will praise Him; My fathers God, and I will exalt Him. (Exodus 15:2)

When I left a church not knowing where am I heading, the song came to me God will make a way, where there seems to be no way by Don Moen Have you ever been trapped, seem surrounded and no way out? In desperation you cried to God and found yourself delivered miraculously. Here is one incident the enemy seem so overwhelming and the people of God found deliverance.

After the final plague the Israelites left Egypt. Pharaoh again hardened his heart and led his soldiers to pursue them. They came to the edge of the Red Sea and in anxiety they started to grumble against Moses. And Moses said to the people, Do not be afraid. Standstill, and see the salvation of the LORD, which He will accomplish for you today. For the Egyptians whom you see today, you shall see again no more forever. (Exodus 14:13) The Sea parted and they walked on dry ground as God caused the East wind held up the water on both sides. Now in freedom they sang the song of God.

Looking back the Israelites could only confess their deliverance came from the Lord. Indeed, With your unfailing love you lead the people you have redeemed. In your might, you guide them to your sacred home." (Exodus 15:13) Moses acknowledged Him as God, a personal relationship and be His habitation and will exalt Him. The LORD is my strength and song, And He has become my salvation. (Psalms 118:14)

Be confident of God's time of intervention. Lay hold of His promises. He is our strength in the past, present and future. Behold, God is my salvation, I will trust and not be afraid; For YAH, the LORD, is my strength and song; He also has become my salvation. (Isaiah 12:2)

Prayer: Father God, You are the song of my heart. For You are my Deliverer. Lord Jesus, You said, You are the Way and I follow You. I have seen Your deliverance and my hearts sing exalting Your name.
